My passion for yoga began the moment I stepped foot onto my mat six years ago. Yoga has transformed my life allowing me to become both mentally and physically stronger, build the confidence I had once lacked, and discover my truest self. As the business owner, my hope is that our studio will become everyone’s sanctuary where they are able to feel grounded, find inner peace, and create a community amongst others who share similar values. As a teacher, I will honor each student's uniqueness and help them move freely with each breath. I feel eternally grateful that yoga was introduced into my life years ago, and I look forward to guiding my students on their yoga journey.

I believe that yoga is for EVERYBODY… Like so many people, I used to assume that yoga is only for “flexible” people. As a former soccer player with limited mobility and flexibility, I can tell you that is so far from the truth! As your teacher, my goal is to help you become more flexible physically, but also mentally. I hope to teach you how to connect movement with breath and how to create space in places that were once stuck… And if one day you can touch your toes or stand on your head, great! But if you can’t, guess what? You are still doing yoga!

I decided to try yoga as an alternative to the traditional sports which I loved but my knee surgeon did not. I quickly realized that yoga was about much more than a great workout, but also about taking control of my anxiety, bringing a sense of consistent, grounding peace and discovering more about myself. As a registered nurse, I found that yoga had become the medicine I needed for not only for my physical ailments but my mental and spiritual journeys as well. My students can expect an opportunity to cultivate and mold a practice of their own, with modifications and challenges making yoga accessible and unique to every person. I love a good flowy sequence, but never forget the benefits of a strong grounded practice. I hope I can lead my students to find restoration, and give them the tools they can use to continue to grow on and off of their mats.
